Honoring Our Struggles

So, this is a view I’m familliar with because I ride the bus to work and it always goes around this roundabout (I think the only one in town).  While there are nicer photos to be taken of this statue, honoring the Chinese railworkers (ques flying in the wind), it also has a shot of the Alano club.

I was obsessed with this thing – no large signs, but people always there. What could it be? One night, before a date in the building next door, I wandered over to ask: apparently it’s a dry bar for alcoholics anonymous and it’s very popular.
