The Meadow Park Gazebo
It doesn’t get more old-school than a big ol’ gazebo in the middle of a park. I’ve been here when they are offering square-dancing lessons, old guys in military garb are singing, and the flag is waving. . . good ol’ all American fun like that . . . it happens here.
They also hold a “circus” here weekly on Sunday mornings and folks slackline the trees.
Also, this is the sweetest spot in downtown. It’s literally romantic. See all the couples lazing on the lawn . . . gazing into one anothers’ eyes? It does a body good. Or a soul. Or something. Note the gigantic art piece over by the playground.
